MATH CHALLENGE TOURNAMENT 2026

 

Mark your calendars! This year’s Math Challenge Tournament will be held in person on Monday, March 30, 2026.

 
A national tournament focusing on math fundamentals and problem-solving skills open to students in Grades 2-5
Students in grade 1st can participate, however, they will be competing at a grade 2 division 2 level.
 
2026 National Math Challenge Tournament
Location: Rosa Parks Elementary School (Commons Lunch Area)
Date: Monday, March 30, 2026
Time: 5:30pm PST (Pacific Time Zone)
Duration: 1 hour
Fee: $26 per student (NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE - 20% of the tournament fee will be donated to Rosa Parks PTSA). 
 
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
  1. Any student at Rosa Parks can participate in the tournament. They don't need to be registered for Math Challenge.
  2. Here is the link for the 2026 MCT students’ registration for our school (this tournament is in-person only and not available online): https://ellipsisacademy.as.me/?appointmentType=57440830   
  3. Learn more about the contest and register HERE. 
  4. Once you've registered, you will immediately receive a registration confirmation email from info@EllipsisAcademy.com containing additional information. If you didn't see the confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder. Add info@EllipsisAcademy.com to your contact list to ensure that this email doesn't go to your spam folder.
  5. If you need to request changes (i.e. division, name, etc.) after registration, you can submit a Change Request here. This form will be available until March 6th, 2026. After March 6th, 2026, any changes needed (except for grade and location changes) will need to be conveyed during check-in on the tournament day. Grade and location can’t be changed after change request is closed.
  6. Tournament Date is Monday, March 30, 2026 at 5:30pm
  7. Last day to register and submit a change request is March 06, 2026. Register early, so you don't miss the deadline.

Lake Washington PTSA will hold an open house celebration for the District/Council Reflections participants and display their artwork on Friday, Jan  23 from 5PM-7PM at the Lake Washington Resource Center: 16250 NE 74th Street at Redmond Town Center.
All students and family members, school staff, friends, art enthusiasts and esteemed Reflections judges are invited to this celebration! 
Art will be on display from January 21-26 at the LWSD Resource Center for public viewing during business hours.  

RESTAURANT NIGHT OUT
 
IXTAPA Redmond Ridge, Feb 5
 
Join us on February 5, from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, for a delicious community fundraiser at Ixtapa Redmond Ridge. Enjoy a meal with family and friends, and 15% of your purchase will be donated back to the Rosa Parks PTSA. It’s an easy (and tasty) way to support our school.

Birthday Books

Birthday Books is a PTA-sponsored program.  It is a great way to celebrate your child’s birthday while enhancing Rosa Park's Library collection. This allows our school community the gift of reading. A Birthday Book can be donated by signing up online. Making a donation to the Birthday Book program will enable our Librarian to select and purchase a book on behalf of the birthday child.
