Washington State PTA Recognizes  Rosa Parks Elementary with the 100% Staff Membership Award   

 Hello Rosa Parks Elementary Community,

We're looking for new board members for the Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) for the 2022-2023 school year. There's a good number of open positions, and all of them are really important for keeping our association vital and thriving.

Our very popular Toymaker event is back with Rick Hartman from School of Toys! This year's Toymaker event will be a virtual all-school event on Thursday, April 28 at 6:30pm. This build-a-toy workshop will explore the art, science, and JOY of building toys together with Rick and your family! A recording will be available for up to 30 days after the event for those that cannot attend the live virtual event.

The toy kits that go along with this event must be ordered ahead of time. Parents, please sign up each of your Rosa Parks students under their teacher's name in order to receive a toy kit for this event. Use your STUDENT'S FIRST AND LAST NAME when signing up. No extra kits will be available for those that do not sign up. Kits are only available for Rosa Parks students. Deadline to sign up: Tuesday, April 12.
