Use these tabletop name tags to learn your students’ names from the beginning!
They are also a great classroom management tool.
Place them how you like to put productive pairs together and separate kids that don’t work well together.
How to:
-
Obtain a class list from your classroom teacher.
-
Fill in their names in the center of each page, replacing where it currently says “First Name”
-
Fold each name tag on the lines, resulting in a long, pyramid shape.
-
Display the name tags on the table in front of each student each class.
-
Collect the name tags at the end of each succeeding class, unfold them so they lay flat, and store them in their teacher’s hanging Art Smart folder in the first cabinet.

SET UP & CLEAN UP TIPS
1. Always cover tables with paper, preferably used
Re-usable table covers are stored next to the paper roll holders
2. Fill one sink or basin with soapy water at the beginning of the lesson. Dirty items can be dropped in to soak when done for easier cleanup later.
3. Foil wrap meat trays and palettes.
The amount of water wasted in clean-up is worse than the throw-away foil.
4. Empty the drying rack before washing new items. You have room to dry them, and they don't pile up.
5. Sit in a chair when washing items if your back hurts from the low sink.
DRYING RACK SIGNAGE

Please be sure to promptly pick up and store your class artwork once it has been fired. There is limited space in the kiln room for the entire school to store completed clay pieces.
