Rosa Parks PTSA is a non-profit volunteer organization supporting all students at Rosa Parks Elementary. Together, we build a feeling of community and provide programs and activities that help enhance our children's education.

SEEKING CULTURAL NIGHT PARTICIPANTS

 

Cultural Night (previously International Night) will be held on April 24 from 5-7pm. Families can sign up to participate by hosting a cultural table, bringing and running activities at cultural tables, bringing traditional food, participating in the kids cultural presentation, etc. Please sign up by April 1 if you would like to participate! We also need LWSD-approved volunteers to help with this event. Questions? Please email community@rosaparksptsa.org.

PTSA GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING & ELECTION

 

Please join us on April 11 at 10:30am for a PTSA General Membership Meeting in Portable 2 or online. All are welcome and PTSA members can vote on voting items. We will be holding our election for the 2025-26 Board of Directors.

 

The 2025 Rosa Parks Elementary PTSA nominating committee hereby places the following names into nomination for the 2025-26 term beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026:

 

For the Officer of President: Luna Egido Martin

For the Officer of Secretary: OPEN

For the Officer of Treasurer: Anh Leelaphisut

For the Officer of VP Communications: Iswarya Venkatraman

For the Officers of VP Community: Radha Arora & Joyce Cheng

The nominating committee has confirmed that all nominees have been a member of Rosa Parks Elementary PTSA for at least 15 days prior to the election, and meet other requirements as stated in the WSPTA Uniform Bylaws. Members of the nominating committee that appear on the nominating report slate of candidates did not take part in the candidate selection for their respective offices.

Birthday Books

Birthday Books is a PTA-sponsored program.  It is a great way to celebrate your child’s birthday while enhancing Rosa Park's Library collection. This allows our school community the gift of reading. A Birthday Book can be donated by signing up online. Making a donation to the Birthday Book program will enable our Librarian to select and purchase a book on behalf of the birthday child.
